Are golf, tennis, badminton, situp, weight training suitable 6 months after RD surgery ?

I had a scleral buckle  surgery 6 months ago. When I do golf, tennis, badminton, exercise like sit up, weight training, I feel a mild jolt to my eye. In general, I feel a mild jolt whenever need to stress my abdomen or have rapid eye movement.  I asked my surgeon and another eye doctor. They think this is harmless and I should be okay to do all of this.
Frankly, my eye will feel uncomfortable even after reading for more than 30 min.
Will there any concern if do all this ? Will that cause more damage to my eye ?
Thanks

Your surgeons are in the best position to give you an individualized answer.

In a study done on people that had had RD surgery after several months when the eye was healed most surgeons released them for normal activities. Note: boxing and other violent sports are not normal acitivies.

As an experiment, you could try reading for 30+ minutes with your eye patched.  Possibly, the pain you are having is caused by eye muscle strain from the stress of using both eyes together.
