Assessing my vision

Below is my current prescription for glasses:
L: -5.75 +0.25 by 110
R: -4.00 +0.50 by 95
Besides being "Moderately Nearsighted" as I have been told, do I have any options?  I know that Laser surgery is the upcoming new trend, but is my vision poor enough to need this procedure done?  I am only 24 years old and my script over the past five years has changed every six months and no one has an answer to why. I would appreciate your opinion greatly.  Thank you.

You have to decide based upon lifestyle issues if you want to have laser surgery done or not.  Your prescription is in the range where a good result is very likely.  However, the prescription must be stable.  If it continues to change, you may not be a good laser candidate yet.  You should discuss this and other options with your ophthalmologist.
