Astigmatism correction following cataract surgery

Hi, I have had my cataract removed in my right eye 1 year ago. Vision is good but it lacks crispness.

Here is my prescription:-

SPH +0.75
CYL -1.00
AXIS 180
NEAR +2.25

I would lilke to get the astigmatism corrected, what is the best procedure to reduce the astigmatism - some sort of laser surgery, limbal incissions or something else?

Thanks for the input. My opticician tells me it is the astigmatism that is causing the problem. Certainly when I put my new galsses on the vision is lovely and sharp - and of course without the glasses the vision is not too bad.

I am just exploring options.

What about astigmatic keratotomy post op - would this be something to enquire about - I read about so many laser complications.

First of all you need to be sure that it is clear and crisp when looking through that glasses RX. If not then the problem is not the astigmatism and a cause must be identified. If it is then the safest thing is to wear glasses when you want you best vision.  If that is not acceptable and you wish to go to the expense and risk then corneal laser surgery is likely your best option.
