Astigmatism in Children

Hi,

My daughter is 6.5 yrs and detected with Astigmatism, her power is
           Sph    Cyl   Axis  Vision
RHS   +2.0   -4.0    180    6/9
      
          Sph    Cyl   Axis  Vision
LHS   +3.0   -4.25  180   6/9

She has been prescribed glasses and has felt an improvement in her vision with Glasses. However does not like the idea of wearing glasses. Lately i've seen her feeling low.
Wanted to know if anything can be done to change the condition, is there any natural treatment, does diet play a critical role?

A good diet is essential to health but it will not make her astigmatism better or worse. At her age there is no choice other than glasses for all her waking activities. When she's older rigid contacts or toric soft contacts are an option. Also when older refractive surgery may be of help.
