At night I notice random dots that look like stars?

I have noticed when I lay in the dark I start seeing small lights that look like stars that go all over the place. Also I have noticed now that I see a big flashing dot out of no where. I've had for a long time where I get really sleepy and have dots all over my eye vision. And a long time ago I noticed a flashing light that would appear in soft lighting and flash that lasted for a couple days.  I get/used to get migraines, I haven't had a migraine in a year or so. I was under high stress then though.

I was thinking floaters and retina detachment maybe? I don't know, I'm planning to go to the eye doctor soon to get my eyes checked. I was just curious if anyone knows what might be happening

I'm still growing, I have 4 more inches to go. I get twitching in my legs and arms a lot, so maybe my ocular nerve is growing? I'm a sensitive person and I pick up on things that aren't quite right easily.

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine the cause of your visual symptoms.  A further history and examination is needed to make an appropriate diagnosis.
