BLURRY VISION AFTER LASIK SURGERY

Posted by KEVIN on July 20, 1999 at 13:44:53
I recently had the Lasik surgery and have been experiencing blurry vision indoors.  My follow exam indicates a serious problem with folds on the lens of the eye.  Is this common and is the followup enhancements supposed to correct this problem?

Do you mean that the "flap" that was opened up has not sealed with a smooth surface - that it has some crinkles in it ?

I doubt you mean wrinkles in the lens because the lens is actually inside the eye.  You may be referring to wrinkles in the flap they created or irregularities in the corneal bed that was lasered.  The flap wrinkles would not be improved with a revision but this can be easily corrected by manipulating the corneal flap in the office.
