Behind left eye hemangioma

Would having a hemangioma behind the left eye cause severe and more often headaches?

Usually not. These lesions can have no symptoms at all sometimes.  Larger ones can push on the back of the eye or make the eye protrude some.  You may never know for sure if the lesion is causing your headaches since sometimes these tumors are left alone while other times excision is recommended.  Talk with an orbital tumor specialist for a second opinion.

Dear Lourina,

I am not familiar with the location of your hemangioma.  I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine the cause of your headaches especially in view of your condition.
