Behind the eye blister.

Hi,
     My right eye is blind due to ambliopia as a child, This was discovered when I was an adult and it was too late for repair.  Since my initial Doctor appointment 45 years ago I have always gone to Optometrist.  Only changing Doctors when one retired.  My present Doctor has been watching my GOOD eye(Left) and now I have to have an ultrasound for a "blister" behind the eye.  He told me not to worry but I should chect, via a chart he gave me for wavy lines and/or floters.  He also said it hasn't changed but this is the first he mentioned it.  I asked if he could just remove it and he told me that when it starts of leak he will treat it with meds.  I know it must have a name and I will ask when I go for my ultrasound , in the meantime I've been obsessed with this.  Have you ever heard of such a thing?

IF you only have one normal eye its twice as important to be under the care of an eye physician ophthalmologist.
