I'm 23 years old and I wasn't properly diagnosed or treated for Bilateral Refractive Amblyopia, I have experienced problems with both eyes and even loss of depth perception, I'm trying to find answers on what just is really going on with me but I keep getting no answers from my doctor. I have failed to pass a driver's license road test atleast 3 to 4 times already and I need some real answers on just what is going on ... tired of the lame "you got lazy eye" answer all the time. I think it is reasonable to have a very thorough workup with things like visual feld testing, oct scan, corneal topography, and perhaps even a neuro-ophthalmology referral.  If you indeed do have refractive ablyopia in both eyes, then you generally will not see any  improvement in your vision with any surgery or treatments at this age.  What you see with the best possible glasses will basically be your peak vision.  There are no treatments that can improve amblyopia in adulthood, I'm sorry.  But again, it is very important to make sure that is the correct diagnosis.
