Blank spot in vision
This question relates to my partner.  He was telling me that last night at work he was trying to read something and there was a blank spot in the middle of what he was reading.  He said that he could see with his peripheral vision, but it was blank when he looked forward.  He also said that he felt dizzy.  He does wear glasses and said that it did not make a difference if he took his glasses off or had them on.

Use the search feature, archives and health topics and read about "Eye Migraines" or "Ophthalmic Migraine" or "transient ischemic attacks or TIAs.

It could be either. Both need a work up. See an Eye MD physician ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org

THIS IMPORTANT it could signal serious problem of heart, brain, eyes or blood vessels.
