Bleeding behind the eye
Since February, a friend of mine, 80 years old, has blood accumulating behind her left eye. She had blurry vision for a while. Medication she takes are: Zocor, Synthroid 0.75, and Phosomax.
Her eye doctor told her not to worry. Shouldn't she have further tests to look for the reason of the bleeding.
Thank you!
Bob

The answer is yes, unless the doctor already knows the reason.  There is obviously some reason - perhaps diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, branch or cental retinal vein occlusion, hypertensive retinopathy.  Just ask the  doctor the write down the diagnosis, the prognosis and what should be done for it.
