Blinded truck driver!!!

I have a chronic dry eye due to stroke. Feeling like some sleeP was in there using my finger I scratched my eye pretty bad (as there is no feeling there, again due to stroke). Now there is a scar that is blurring my vision. 20/400. Can this be fixed through surgery or laser? I drive truck and need vision of at least 20/40.

Depends on the level of vision prior to you scratching your eye.  If severe vision loss was noted shortly after the time of the stroke, that may be irreversible due to damage of tissue in the back of the eye.  If the vision was 20/40 or better and the only issue is a scar on the cornea (that did not lead to an infection within the eye), perhaps a corneal transplant may significantly improve the vision in that eye.  If this episode of scratching your eye occurred recently and you have not seen an eye MD, you should do so immediately due to a high risk of infection.
