Blurred Vision Following Corneal Ulcer

Blurred Vision Following Corneal Ulcer

On September 8th, my 9 month old hit me in the eye with a water bottle (the lid to be exact) resulting in a corneal abrasion.  I ended up with a bacteria infection and corneal ulcer.  Finally, after MUCH anti-biotics, it is healed, but the doctor says that there is still swelling.  I am now on steriod drops.  The ulcer was central and did not directly affect the pupil.  The doctor said that it is a deep scar and that I will have a stigmatism and that's okay.  What I am wondering is whether or not this cloudy/foggy vision will go away.  How long will it take?  I've heard/read that it can take up to 6 weeks before the blurriness is gone.  Please help.

Dear switzz1976,

I would recommend that you speak with your eyeMD about whether he/she thinks the blurriness will persist.
