Blurry Vision

What could cause and cure blurry vision?  It starts in the summer and clears up in the winter. I wear soft contact lenses and change them frequently, but this doesn't seem to help.

I can only guess, but perhaps your eyes get dry from heat, air conditioning, fans, etc., and your vision becomes blurry because of that, and maybe some moisturizing drops could help.  I say this because my eyes get so dry that they feel gummy.   I use Refresh Plus Lubricant Eye Drops, or Bion Tears, and they help quite a bit.  I've also been having trouble with blurry vision lately, so I'll look forward to seeing if someone else has some more ideas about blurry vision's causes and treatments.

Another consideration is pollen.  Just a thought.  I hope someone comes along that can answer your questions more thoroughly.  You might want to try some moisturizing eye drops, and see if that helps.

Try using a gel called GenTeal Gel at night right before you go to bed. Its made to last a lot longer, unlike drops. You can find them pretty much anywhere eye meds are sold, I actually bought mine at Albertsons (a grocery store where I live.) Its a gel that turns to liquid as soon as it meets the eye.
Another thing my ophthamologist said is to use eye drops, he gave me samples of some called optive, and told me to use them during the day whenever my eyes start to feel dry and get blurry, and to try using them 4 times a day.
I hope you don't mind me putting my two cents in, but I thought the little extra advice might help.
