Blury Vision after vitrectomy

Blury Vision after vitrectomy

I am a 51 year old white male in good health taking no meds.  Approx three weeks ago I had a vitrectomy in my right eye because of hemorrhaging of retina tears.  The eye is healing fine with no complications except my distance vision blurred.  I understand this is normal during the healing process.  My question is that I am due for a regular eye vision glasses checkup and now I wonder how long should I wait until I can have this exam?  If my vision will change during the healing process then it seems to be of no use to change eyeglass prescription for this period.

Your surgeon can tell you best, because he knows your eyes. There are a lot of factors that would influence this, and you want to do it as soon as it would be benefiial.
