Bright pulsating spot in vision

Yesterday and again today, I have developed a bright pulsating spot in my vision.  It starts as a small spot (appears in both left and right eye vision) and pulsates and gets larger and larger until it is in my peripheral vision and then vanishes.  It starts off looking my like the tiny "floaters" on gets if they stare but pulsates and is bright and enlarges.  My vision doesn't really get blurry but it seems to get in the way of my vision in that it feels like I am trying to look past it...
After it is gone, I feel like I have a sinus type headache and I feel a little off but overall, I feel fine.

If this only happened once, I wouldn't be concerned but this happened again within 12 hours.

Any thoughts as to what this might be?  Anyone else experience this?

I get these sometimes too.  They seem to be triggered by bright, reflected or fluorescent, light especially when ambient outdoor light is low, such as eveningtime or overcast days.  They resolve themselves in 15-30 minutes.  Not painful or anything, just a nuisance.

This is a common reason for posting. Basically it could be a problem in your eye, your heart, your brain or your blood vessels. In young people a common cause is Eye Migraines also called ophthalmic migraine. The older you are the less likely it is migraines.

you should see a Ophthalmologist Eye MD and a personal physician (FP, GP, Internist).

You need to work through the causes. You can use the search feature and read previous posts. You can use Google IMAGES and google ophthalmic migraine. Bear in mind that other serious disease can cause the same symptoms (one that is common is TIA or transient ischemic attack).
