Bright spot in vision after blinking

I have developed a bright spot in vision that appears in my right eye just after I blink. It's just left of centre and is pronounced when I'm looking at a bright light like a computer monitor. Also, once or twice a day I get a tiny flash in that area of my vision.
This has been around for a few months now. The last opthalmological visit I made was a year ago and there were no problems except for a little dry eye from working on a pc.  Since then I've been forced to work on computer even more.
Any ideas?

You find this is caused by the cursor on the computer screen.  Concentrate and see if the spot looks like the cursor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
We have had several complaints and questions from people that see a bright spot in they vision when they blind (2-4). you might use the archives and review the previous posts to see what they notice and our suggestions.

We have not had any of them report back a definitive diagnosis but we've suggested seeing an Eye MD ophthalmologist-physician to rule out macular disease, retinal disease or other medical problem. Using a computer won't cause this.
