Brimomidine for halos, glares

Hello, may I ask why taking 2 drops of brimomidine I don't see halos or glares anymore with my multifocal iol for several hours? It shrinks the pupil but why this exactly happens, since high-order aberrations occurs because the corneal irregularity. Thanks for the answer

It creates a 'pin hole' effect by making the pupil smaller and the amount of light from the periphery of a large pupil has more aberration than the central part of the light beam.

Thank you. May I ask one more question? I still don't know what causes my dysphotopsias, irregular cornea or the lens itself. When I'm using brimomidine, all dysphotopsias disappear for several hours. So now, what does cause halos, glares? is the irregular cornea (light reflected on it) or the lens/optic rings?
Both
with a rigid contact lens, should I solve some corneal problems?
Not usually.
