I am 18 and my eye has been very irritated lately. Almost like a tingling feeling or as if something were moving. I just noticed about 7 small brown dots of varying sizes on my left iris . It almost looks like little fungus pollips. As far as I know they have not been there more than a 5 days (I could be wrong) but my eye has been irritated for about 2 and a half weeks.I was just wandering if anybody has any idea about what it is. Thank you.
I'm not entirely sure what you are noticing but it might possible be a normal iris finding or a real abnormality. It is also possible the dots are really on your cornea but from your perspective you think they are on your iris. Either way, sinc you have significant eye irritation, it is of extreme importance that you see an ophthalmologist to find out what you have. I don't want to go into any more detail at present since I only have a very brief description and don't want to get off on a tangent unless I know more. Basically, an ophthalmologist should be able to tell you very easily once they see you.
