BrownIsh pigment in eye

I have had this brownish pigment on the side of my left eye and it spread out more throughout the years. I didnt go get it checked until it started bothering me. I went to a regular doctor and an eye specialist. I was told it was just a freckle. But it bugs me and it's blurry at times, and gets a little watery. I was given artificial tears, but honestly it does not help at all. What does anyone recommend i do?

I would recommend that you speak with your eyeMD about the fact that you noticed this area growing.  The blurriness and watery eyes may be unrelated.  Please seek the care of an eyeMD about your continuing issues.
