Bump on Eyelid

Hi, other a month ago I noticed this quite big lump on my eye lid. It wasn't red, sore, or anything like that, so I ruled out it wasn't a stye. Since then it has gone down, but has stayed there ever since. Like I said it dosn't cause me bother, but now I'm starting to panick and I don't know what it is? I have inherited HAS of my mam in the left eye, but I don't think that has anything to do with the lump on my eyelid, on my left eye. It isn't sore, red or nothing like I have looked up on, because yet again I am getting very worried. Can you please tell me what it is????

Please do some research on chalazion - which is probably what the lump on your eyelid is.  It could also represent a skin cancer like basal cell carcinoma, which can be found on lower eyelids especially.  I recommend you see an ophthalmologist to find out what the lump is (hopefully a chalazion) and start the proper treatment.
