Bumps on inner eyelid

My friend has two small black spots on the inside of her upper eyelid, that appeared over night and are getting prograssively worse. Her eye is almost completely swollen shut. We have tried using several differtent stye medication but none of them have helped, i don't think its a stye but what else could it be?
