Bumps on inner upper eye lids.

I went to see my opticians on Friday for my yearly contact lens check up. (I'm female & 17 years old if you need to know). During the eye exam, the optician lifted up my eye lids so that they stuck there so she could see the side of my upper lids that normally touches the eyeball.
She then told me that I have bumps on them, and showed me a book with pictures of the bumps in, which were of different severities in each picture. I went on google and found this...

...which looks like the worst severity that there was in the book. She then told me that I had it minor, like in the first picture she had where I could hardly see the bumps. She then asked me if I have experience itching in my eyes, which I haven't. She very quickly moved onto the next part of the eye exam and I never got a chance to ask her what these bumps are and if this is something serious.

Please could you advise me on what this is and if I need to go back to my opticians for them to check.
