CATARACT

one eye worse than other- how would i proceed in operation/ WOULD i HAVE THE WORST ONE DONE THAN FOLLOW UP WITH OTHER EYE ? They would not just do one eye with implanted lens and leave the otjer eye alone would they? thank you

If one eye sees well and has no cataract and the other does not see well and has a cataract generally only the one with a cataract is done.

both eyes have cataracts .one is worse than other?

1. you vision should be a big problem and the cataract should be the reason.
2. worse eye done first.
3. after its healed see how you're doing. Sometimes that helps enough that the second eye not need be done then,  other times bothers you more then second eye done 4-6 weeks after the first.
