CHRPE in one eye??

CHRPE in one eye??

Hi, i am a female, 21 years old and recently went for an eye test. I have been referred to the hospital with a large, flat, pigmented 4dd in size lesion/mole on my eye. They think it may be CHRPE. My concern is that at a eye test 7 years ago I was told i had a small mole. Now it seems to have grown however the first optician does not have a record of how big it was orginally making it difficult to tell how much it has grown by. I have extensively researched CHRPE and cannot find information on whether it normally grows. I am very worried by this and the optician kept repeating that I am very young to have it. Which again is odd as I have seen online most people are diagnosed by 30!! Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am from England if any of the terms used seem odd!! Thank you so much in advance.

Congential hypertrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium is usually stationary and does not change.  I would recommend you get a photograph to follow it for changes.
