CLR 8 days postop-pain and headache

I had a ReStor lens put in my left eye last week. My right eye is not that bad so I am considering waiting to have it done. I am able to read without glasses which is awesome to me! My right eye is dominant and sees fine for distance. I have seen floaters and flashing lights but my MD said to just watch it. My question is this: I have eye pain and a headache. I am still blurry but that's expected. Is the pain and headache normal for 8 days postop?

Artificial tears are awesome-best thing since sliced bread. Thanks for the advice. I saw him today and he said my vitreous is pulling my retina but no tear. My left eye had a +3 and my right is +1 so my brain is trying to figure out what to do--hence, eyestrain and headaches. But the pain is so sharp! I'm having to wear sunglasses while I type. He said it's expected and my brain should get used to everything in the next month or two. My right eye isn't bad except for reading and barely bad at that, so we're going to wait to fix it even though it's not normal to only fix one. What do you think?  Would you go ahead and fix the right eye to relax things even though it's not that bad? Thanks for your advice.

The pain is not normal.  Call  your surgeon and follow his instructions.  You could just be feeling the incision and artificial tears every 30 minutes might help.  The light sensitivity should get better over time.  Again, call your surgeon and follow  his advice regarding the pain.

Btw, I have been using the proper drops at the proper times, including artificial tears. The pain in my eye feels like something sharp is going through it. The light on my computer screen hurts, as does the sunlight. My eye feels tight. Any idea?
