Can I still do heavy weight lifting and boxing if I have myopia? -7

Can I still do heavy weight lifting and boxing/mma if I have myopia? I think mine is kinda high -7. My eye doctors haven't said anything about this so I assume I can still do  boxing and weight lifting I've been doing this stuff since I was a in 6th grade and I'm in 12th now, would suck if I had to stop.

Weight lifting? No problem. Boxing: You are asking for  retinal detachment, traumatic hyphema (bleeding in the front of the eye), traumatic glaucoma, traumatic cataract, and vitreous hemorrhage (bleeding in the back of the eye) or orbital blow out fracture.   And that's just what you are  at high risk for with eyes.   Tell me your too smart to box!  You want to box hit a punching bag.

Be sure you see an ophthalmologist or optometrist annually for an eye exam.
