Thank you for your suggestion. We picked up some Occusoft foam cleaner tonight. We will give it a try.
Try using either Occusoft foam eyelid cleaner or TheraTears SteriLid foam eyelid cleaner. Both are available without a RX and sterilize the lids where germs live.

Thank you for writing. We did see a specialist, and he swabbed her eye, and said it was strepdecaukus (sp) STREP Virus. He represcribed some drops to help make sure it didnt also become a bed for a bacterial infection, and it went away. for a while.
But now its back for what must be the 5 or 6th time since January. Her opthalmologist prescribed her Azasite, but at this point, I wonder if we will ever be clear of this, or if every day we wake up we will worry for that first couple of seconds, that one of us has it again.
That's very very unusual unless you were affected by a adenovirus infection which can become chronic.
