Can reducing Pilocarpine strength lead to increased IOP?

It's a long story but last year I had an acute angle closure glaucoma crisis and the ophthalmologist decided to remove my lenses and replace them with artificial lenses to allow for wider drainage channels because my pupils were really large. Anyhow, it was a long, long road to recovery and my previously uncorrected 20/20 vision is gone forever. I had severe halos and very blurry vision for months post-op. my IOP was normal then. The surgeon put me on 1% pilocarpine drops three times a day. Gradually that  and half percent in the afternoon. But I was told I couldn't stay on pilocarpine forever and reduced the dose to 1/2 % three times daily.
That seemed to be going okay in terms of my vision. But then last week I started getting intermittent episodes of blurry vision followed by headache. It would come and go. But the headaches have been getting worse every day and today I just cannot shake the headache. It's quite bad to the point of nausea.
Could this be the result of decreasing the strength of the pilocarpine? It wasn't done abruptly but over course of weeks. Would sincerely appreciate any knowledgable  advice.
Thank you

I've had my eyes examined twice and IOP's were normal but yesterday woke up at 4 a.m. With flashing arcs in my eyes, pounding headache, nausea which are migraine symptoms, but new for me. Flashers are gone but headache continues...

It could be a result of the decrease in pilo strength. You need to go in and have your pressure checked to make certain. There are other eye pressure lowering drops which can be helpful. Probably one of the alpha agonists, beta blockers, and/or CAIs.
