Changing Eye Color

My mother has dark brown eyes and my father had hazel eyes. My brother and I both had dark brown eyes until my brother turned about 14 then they turned greenish-hazel. It seems that my eyes are now changing colors and I'm 39. Is this possible? Also, I've heard that all babies are born with blue eyes, is this true?

Eye color can fade some over time but I would have my eyes checked by an eye MD ophthalmologist to make sure you don't have a glaucoma condition which can do this too.

The iris of a newborn is thinner and looks more on the blue side but it is not necessarily the "clear" blue which one would expect in an adult with blue eyes. The simple answer is
that it is NOT true that all babies are born with blue eyes.
