Dear Russell903,

Charles Bonnet syndrome is a syndrome in which people see things which they know are not there. This can be associated with some diseases which affect sight later in life

Regarding Charles Bonnet syndrome-
my ophthalmologist thinks that my central blurred vision due to spiralling movements is potentially Charles Bonnet.  I have glaucoma in that eye.  Visual field tests shoe central damage, not peripheral.  Have you ever heard of spiralling motion at eye center, perhaps due to optic nerve myelin sheath loss?  I can see the images w/eye open or closed.  Fluroangiograms, OCT, MRI, MRA, ERG all tried but none showed the spiralling imbage source or even it's presence.  Any further possibilities?  Thanks for any insight you may have.
