I've had CSR now for several years with the distortion being right in the central visual field (left eye). I'm going to see an opthamologist next week (5th visit in 6 yrs) and I have a few questions that maybe you can answer:
1. Is it possible that having the condition for so long has caused some type of retinal scarring.
2. Is it possible that even in the absense of any fluid between the retina and RPE could there still be a cause of visual distortion?
3. If the answer is yes to 1 & 2, is it logical to assume that this visual distortion is likely permanent?
4. Finally, is there no way to repair scarring of the retina (stem cells)?
Thank you,

I don't think there is any research on your problem. The association of eye problems with viagra and cialis is tenuous and unproven. The problem was not CSR of ischemic optic neuropathy. I believe recent studies show the relationship is probabl coincidental
