Colrs seem different after cataract surgerry

I had cataract surgery on my left eye several days ago.  I  now have really good distance vision (I've been nearsighted since I was eleven, I am now 53).  My only problem is colors seem duller.  Yellow looks white or pinkish.  Purple looks brownish and some shades have blue have a yellow tint wheras green seems sort of grayish.  I was told colors may seem brighter, but my colors seem duller.  Doctor didn't really have an answer.  Is it my eye are my lens?  The lens has a blue filter.  I really want to have my second eye within in the next 2 weeks because I have to go back to work but I'm afraid some colors will never be the same again.

yes you can do a literature search on the internet. Lots is written. Most report color perception is not changed.

I am about to have cataract/IOL/DSAEK surgery, and the lens the doctor plans to implant is the Alcon SN60WF.  I understand this one has the blue light-filtering feature.  I am an artist, and am concerned that it may change my color perception.  Are there any reports I can read from studies that deal with this issue?  Thanks!

I would just wait a week or two. then compare white with each eye. Color vision is almost always better in the operated eye. Early on things seem too blue for some people as the usual yellow/brown cataract absorbs more blue light than any other color.
