Computer Related Strain...Migraine?

Hey i am an High Myop(-11 both eyes) and have been operated for a retinal detachment 4 years back.

I was working in software and started experiencing high one sided pains(operated side)....but every examination by my retinal specialist doctor seemed to come out as normal.Loads of tests were done...A scan,MRI scan,Filed vision.

Only thing that came out was one small spot in the field vision(in the paining eye) with all other reports coming out as normal. My Opthamologist doctor told me that spot was nothing and there was no reason for that spot.

Cud this be migraine(during the pain i do feel like vomittin, also sum times i do see a shiny like aura)then and how can i control this pain.

also shud i undergo the field vision again....to check if the spot was just a mistake

also can a spot in the field vision cause eye strain(read forehead pain and neck pain too)

lemme know
thnx

A spot in the visual field would not cause pain. Yes, it could be migraine. I would recommend a consultation with a neuro-ophthalmologist. Most large and some mid size cities have these highly trained individuals. They are often on the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology of medical schools.  An alternative would be too see a neurologist and discuss the possibility of migraine and a trial of anti-migraine medications. These problems should not be related to your high myopia and previous RD surgery.

The retinal detachment was a minor 1 which was reattached by spontaneous settlement cryo surgery(no buckle).
