Computer Usage after Cataract

by it4me87, Jan 29, 2008 06:50AM
I am going to have cataract operations on both my eyes fairly soon.  My powers are around -13 and I was told I would be given IOL so that power will be -3.0.  After the operation, what kind of problem will I face with computer work - as I spend around 12 hours in front of computers?  Also will I be able to drive wearing glasses of course!

With one eye fixed and the other not you will have rivalry between the two eyes. After they are fixed it should be easier than now with the cataracts.

You might consider post operative refractive errors of -2.25 in one eye and -1.00 in the other. You still will need glasses but without glasses you would function well at near.
