Conductive Keratoplasty

Conductive Keratoplasty

In order to correct a refractive surprise post cataract surgery, can Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) be performed
in conjunction with Limbal Relaxing Incisions (LRIs) for an individual with mixed vision or would flap (lasik) or surface ablation (prk) be preferred? Prescription in plus format is O.D + .75 spherical -1.00 cylinder.

CK has thankfully fallen out of favor. It burns the cornea into shape, scars it, is not permanent and can warp the cornea.

Lasik or PRK or LRI are much superior    From your RX lasik likely best choice
