Conjuctivitis

I went to Urgent Care today because I've been having problems for about four days with a string of red dots across the crease of my right eye and it was beginning under the eye as well this morning.  I had painful swelling and redness for the past two mornings.  Today I woke up and my right eye was swollen shut and the left didn't look much better.  At Urgent Care the doctor said it was conjunctivitis, but I've had this before and I didn't have the usual symptoms such as pink/eyes, itching, discharge, drainage, etc.  I'm not thoroughly convinced with his diagnosis.  He did prescribe an eye drop (Tobramycin Opththalmic), but I remember in the past when I first administered the drops my eyes would burn.  They didn't burn at all, however, the weird string of bumps appear to be inside the eyelid as well,  it felt like rocks when I inserted the drops.  Any other suggestions as to what this could be.

You need to see an ophthalmologist.
