Contact Lenses

Hi All,

I have daily disposal soft contact lenses, due to working away etc I rather stupidly have been wairing a pairr for three weeks and sleeping in them then throwing them away.

I recently took them out when I returned home and I have slight discomfort, like my eyes are tired and a little gritty.

There is no visual problems, my eyesight has not got any worse and there is nothing on the eye, no blood shot, no mucus as i say just a little discomfort

Should I continue not to wear the lenses and are there any eyedrops i can use whilst not wearing the lenses to ease the discomfort?

Sorry Ive just worried myself reading pages on the internet saying aI could go blind.

Leave the contact lens out, call your contact lens fitter and go in to see him/her. You can use artifical tears. If it becomes painful or blurred vision insist on going in today.
