Contact Lenses

Ok, This is not really a medical question but I was going to ask a question about contact lenses.
I am 14 years old and have worn glasses for a few years now and live in the UK. I do not want to wear contact lenses constantly but was wondering whether you can get some contact lenses for a one-off use on a special occasion.
This may seem silly but I really want to go to MCM London cosplaying but most characters don't wear glasses, so, like I said, I want to find out whether there is such thing as one-off contact lenses just so I have a wider choice.

Dear alexianutshell,

It is possible to obtain contact lenses for occasional use.  It is important for you to be fully trained on how to take them in and out and wear them enough, to get used ot the feeling of wearing contact lenses.

There are a number of brands of 1-day contacts, which are meant to be worn for a day and then thrown away.
