Contactremoved andi still see far, but not close

I feel asleep with my contacts in the other day, and when i woke up just like any infection, my eye stung a bit, it hurt to open it. but my eye felt really wieird. when it was comfortable to look out of that eye, it was blurry. most notably, there were rings around every light five or 6 of them. well it got more comfortable so i continued to wear them.of course when i could i had taken the lenses out. When i did, my left eye, the one affected, was blurry in closer vision and was actually a lot more clear with further vision. When i took out my contact, did it split in half? not like through it like a cross, but split like there were now two contacts instead of the one? one being nearsided and farsided halfves that counteract? Or is it possible that my eye is swollen and has temporarily made my vision better?

Its weird to me cause i feel like the rings im seeing are because there are little circular spirals in between the contact lens and one half with the spirals or maybe without has stuck to my eye, permanantly. im very worried. its better than it was, but I have no idea what is happening.

Maybe wearing that contact for a long time flattened out your cornea temporarily, so your distance vision improved.

Look up something called Ortho-K, special contacts you wear overnight to achieve the effect you are describing.

Removing a dried out contact may have caused temporary damage to your cornea.
If so, it needs time to heal:
I suggest:
Stop wearing your contacts for four or five days and see if your vision improves.  (I hope you have some glasses)

If it does not improve,  see an Opthamologist.  You may need eye drops to address inflammation or infection.

When you resume contact wear, insert new lenses, and be sure to clean your contact case.
Good luck!
