Cornea Graft Transplants and Cornea Blisters

I have Fuch Cornea Dystrophy in both eyes. I had cornea GRAFT  transplants in both eyes. It's about 3 years since the right eye had the surgury.  About 8 months ago, my right eye developed eye blisters that broke and were very painful.  My doctor resurfaced the bad parts of the remaining cornea and covered with anabiotic fluid.  It's better, but occassionally the pain.mucus and watering in that eye returns.  My doctor said the eyes will be as good as they will get.  I have 2 different meds and use both 2x/day.  One is to control the pressure in the eyes.  My question is would another full transplant improve my vision and eliminate the watering and bluriness.  At times, after I blink my eyes, things look pretty clear. But, it does not last long.  My vision is 20/40 with glasses.  Please advise any suggestions you may have.

Thank you.  Jean

See a different corneal surgeon for a fresh opinion. Note that corneal transplants are no longer the treatment of choice for Fuchs dystrophy. DSEAK is not standard, much safer, much faster healing.  Use the search feature to read about. Find another corneal Eye MD at www.aao.org
