Cornea Scar

Cornea Scar

hi.
i use monthly disposable contact lenses.
Last saturday night i woke up in the middle of the night just to find my left eye red n itchy.
i splashed some water and went back to sleep assuming it to be minor infection.
next morning i noticed my eye to be swollen,red,ithcy..i called up the doctor n she suggested me refresh tears.
By monday afternoon my eye was in much better condition with no itchiness but only redness.
in the evening when i visited the doctor she said that there is a scar in the cornea and suggested me 2 drops TOBA(0.3% sterile and Zoxan) also 2 ointments ( Neosparin and ocupol)
today being wednesday the redness is reduced considerably but not fully.
What i m worried about is,will the scar get healed or will it remain permanently?

Hopefully you are seeing an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Only an exam can tell if its likely to go away (small and superficial) or be permanent (deep and large)
