Cornea inflammation change eye color?
Could a cornea infection (inflammation) cause a discolouration (color change) in the iris in the same way iritis does?

If the corneal infection or inflammation results in scarring or swelling of the cornea, this would change the clarity of the cornea and result in opacity.  As a result the normally clear cornea would be more opaque or whitish, and therefore the underlying iris would not be as easily seen.  This would appear to change the color of the iris.
