Cornea thinning from contact lens use

Cornea thinning from contact lens use

I am 58 years old and wearing daily disposable lens (mono vision) for last 8 years.  I am getting a little concerned reading about cornea thinning from wearing lens.  Should I be concerned?  Do you recomenned a daily disposable lens that would prevent the loss of oxygen from the eyes.

Only an in person eye exam by an Eye MD ophthalmologist with possible corneal pachomytry, topography and endothelial cell count could answer the question if you are damaging your eyes.
