Corneal Edema Following Cataract Surgery

Corneal Edema Following Cataract Surgery

I had cataract surgery on 9/10/07.  I was left with corneal edema.  The only thing my doctor has said (he is baffled about this) is that I must have had a reaction to one of the chemicals used during surgery.  I have the utmost confiden`e in my doctor, despite all of this time, and I think he is a wonderful doctor.  iThese is my questions:

I am out of state at the present time in Las Vegas, hoping that a lower humidity environment will help my corneal edema.  My doctor said it was worth a shot.  I have been here a week as of today (11/5/07).  My question is how long should I be in the lower humidity environment in order for this to be a true test as to whether this will help my corneal edema or not?  (I live in Texas where the humidity is always in the high range of 80% plus, and in Vegas it is 22% downward.).
