Corneal Infection and Ulcer

Just diagnosed with Corneal infection and ulceration - I wore Dailies and was viligent in keeping hands clean when inserting and removing - yet still got this painful condition.  I read that the daily type are actually a bit worse than the 30 day type... as long as you remove and clean the 30 day type each night.  Darn I thought I was ahead of the risk factor with the Dailies.  I never kept up on my glasses RX - so dealing with glasses that do not meet my needs.  Question for the future - am I more suseptable to problems associated with contacts and should I just switch back to glasses (and update Rx for glasses).

As long as you continue to wear contacts you are at risk of another corneal ulcer even if you do every thing you're suppose to.
