Could botox/Dysport injection above my eye cause my vitreous detachment?

I had several dermatological treatments the same day as I had an explosion of floaters in my eye (and was subsequently diagnosed the next day with vitreous detachment).  One of those treatments was Dysport and it was injected  in several places in my forehead.  The most painful injection was over my left eyebrow and the left eye is the one that I have the PVD in.  Floaters started a few hours after that.  I also had IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) on my face a had a few actinic keratosis lasered.  Could any of these treatments cause the PVD?  I wouldn't think so but it is just so weird that it all started on the same day.

Also, my retina doc explained the risk of retina tear and detachment and how I am at more risk for the first 3 months.  He said that I could go ahead and go back to running now though.  I am nervous about doing that.  Would it be safer to do spinning or the elliptical?  What about weight lifting?  Sorry so many questions.  I really appreciate your help!

I had a PVD within days after a botox injection of the forehead. I believe that it could be related and it could be due to inflammation or possibly an autoimmune response causing inflammation. Did you have botox?

I doubt the  PVD is related to your treatments.  No restrictions on exercise.
