Curved/Wavy Vision In Left Eye?

by treddy_karra, Oct 02, 2009 11:07AM
Why is my left eye vision looks like curved / wavy.  I can't read properly when i close the right eye and see with the left eye.

FYI: My right eye vision is good.

This is a macula problem.  See an ophthalmologist.

Dr. O.

I went to Opthalmologist, they did all tests and said that you have no problem in your Eyes and advised to go for Angiogram to find out the exact problem in my left eye, but I denied to go for Angiogram.

If I go for Angiogram test, does it harm in any way? Please advise.

An angiogram is a very important diagnostic procedure to determine if there are any problems with blood vessels in the retina.  Time is of the essence for some problems that may be treatable in the early stages - wait too long and your vision can be permanently altered if it isn't already.

Dr. Ray T Oyakawa, said that this is a Macula problem, but I don't know what exactly the problem is.  When I was in India my left eye was diagnosed at LV Prasad Eye Hospital and they couldn't figure out the problem with my eyes.  but my left eye vision is not clear (I can see everything but when I am trying to read something with single left eye it looks like curved, waivy and mixed characters) .

Please tell me how to get out of this problem.

Listen to Dr Oyakawa and go see retinal specialist asapo, this sounds like a macular hole, if you wait too long it might be irreversible.
