Curved blood vessels

What does it mean if someone has curved blood vessels in the whites of their eyes? I ask because everytime I go to an eye doctor they say that I have that.  And I just went to another one just today, and he said the same thing "aside from your blood vessels looking curved, everything looks fine".  Is it a big deal? What does it mean ? And why mention it if its not a big deal?

If you mean curved "tortuous" retinal blood vessels it can be due to high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol or smoking.  You will need to clarify where the vessels are they are taking about with one of the people that have examined you.
