Cylindrical power for 4 years old

My daughter had recently diagonised having cylindrical power in both of her eyes.
Right:
Sph:+1.00
Cyl: -2.50
Axis:+170

Left:
Sph:plano
Cyl: -2.50
Axis: +10

The doctor prescribed her to wear spectacled with this power.  I cannot understand his writing.. Maybe whether its +'+' or 'x'

*)  I would like to know what could be the reason for this power.As i have seen in the forum that this could be happen due to genetics. But myself and my husband are not wearing specs and our parents also only at the old age.

*) Will this power reduce as the age goes on?

*) Is there any exercise to reduce this...

*) Any operation to be done..

*)What are the steps to be taken hereafter to take care of her eyes --- not to increase more and also to reduce


*) Is it a very worse condition as i dont have knowldge in this..

This is moderate astigmatism.  It will probably not change significantly and cannot be corrected with exercise.  LASIK can be done if there are not corneal diseases at 18 years of age.
